Fixed Ladder Access Installations

∙ Overview

What is Fixed Ladder Access

A fixed aluminium caged ladder is a permanently installed access system design to provide safe and compliant roof access.

Why Fixed Ladder Access is Important

The rigid aluminium structure and protective cage offer stability and fall protection, ensuring workers can move to and from the roof securely while maintaining three points of contact.

In addition, the option of a lockable security hatch provides public protection against unauthorized personal accessing the roof.

  • Our fixed ladder access installations are completed in line with New Zealand regulatory requirements, including the New Zealand Building Code and relevant standards. Each system is carefully installed and, where required, inspected and tested to confirm it meets the specified design and performance criteria.

Upon completion, Certifix provides a PS3 (Producer Statement – Construction) confirming the installation has been carried out in accordance with the design, manufacturer requirements, and applicable standards. This gives you confidence in compliance and makes future audits and building warrant of fitness (BWOF) processes straightforward.
